Teton Gravity Research Presents “Flying High Again”
In a world where the snowboard corporatocracy prioritizes the next Instagram swipe, Teton Gravity Research and snowboard film pioneer, Mike Hatchett, have defied all odds to bring the community a feature-length shred film. "Flying High Again" celebrates what matters most: a bomber crew, a rowdy soundtrack, and pure, unadulterated riding action. This film stands as the latest addition to TGR's storied legacy of action-adventure stoke and success.
Clocking in at an hour long, this full-length feature showcases significant contributions from some of the best backcountry and freestyle riders in the scene. Bode Merrill leads the charge, his opening segment beginning with him shackled like in "Silence of the Lambs," before launching into an epic backcountry freestyle display featuring one-foot flips and sick floaty airs.
Another standout performance comes from Brandon Davis, seamlessly transitioning from the streets to the backcountry with grace and style. It wouldn't be surprising if a Natural Selection invite is in his near future.
The cinematography is stunning, capturing breathtaking big mountain lines from the likes of Danny Davis, Jeremy Jones, Elena Hight, Jason Robinson, and more. Antti Autti tackles one of the gnarliest lines, while Eric Jackson delivers numerous jaw-dropping moments to close out the film. We haven't been this hyped about a full-length feature since the debut of Travis Rice's "The Art of Flight."
